Household appliance collection
We will collect all electrical appliances larger than a small microwave oven from domestic properties only. For details of this, and how to dispose of old and broken items, please see below.
Can the electrical appliance be reused?
If Yes, see 'reusable items' below. If No, see damaged or broken items.
Where possible, try to make sure any electrical appliance you have is reused. You can advertise items on Freegle, or take them to charities. Charities also collect items free of charge.
Advertise items on the Penrith and Eden District Freegle website, free of charge, for appliances you are happy to give away.
Eden Valley Hospice
View the furniture shop location on the Eden Valley Hospice website, where you can take unwanted appliances to donate to the hospice, for them to sell to raise funds for the work they do.
